Exploring Majors at UNLV
The ASC is the starting point for new students wishing to explore potential educational and future
career paths. Through quality advising and support, the center helps
students determine which degree program at UNLV will best suit
them.
Here are some helpful links to get you started.
Declaring a Major
Prior to or during their sophomore
year, all exploring students must declare a degree program. To do this,
students must go to the advising
center in the college that houses their chosen major.
Learn more about the individual
majors. Note that all the majors have minimum GPA
requirements for graduation.
Advising
After selecting your courses, you may submit your proposed schedule online for an ASC academic advisor to review. Once your schedule has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an e-mail response within three working days.
