What is a Non-Admitted/Non-Degree Seeking Student?
Any person 18 years of age or older or any person who presents evidence of high school graduation may enroll as a non-admitted student, without official admission, for a maximum of eight credits per semester.

Although there is no limit to the total number of credits one may earn as a non-admitted student, no more than 24 credits may be applied toward a bachelor's degree upon admission [UNLV Undergraduate Catalog].

How to Enroll as a Non-Degree Seeking Student

  1. Complete the non-admitted student application form.

  2. Follow the steps listed on the non-degree seeking student checklist.
